Christmas Card Sneak Peek Day 5

Yay for day 5!  I'm excited because I got more of my prep work done today.  Ahhh I'm getting excited.  The house is clean, I am ready to go.  I even looked up the Christmas music station on Comcast today.  Ready to go!

Here is card 5:
I loved these candy cane stickers that came with the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' kit, so I had to use them on a card... they would be cute in a scrapbook too but who has time for that!!!  And for this card you don't even need to stamp anything.

Sneak Peek

Christmas Card Sneak Peek Day # 4

I know everyone has "Those" mornings.... where you actually start to consider going back to bed, and staying there all day hoping maybe you will have better luck with tomorrow morning.

Sadly, that was my morning. But, in full suck-it-up-mode I dragged myself out of bed and now realizing that the Christmas card workshop is only four days away I am shaking off my desire to stay camped out under my pillows and blankets of safety and I am motivating myself to get to work.

Here is your sneak peek for the 4th card we will be making....

This tree is one of my favorite Christmas tree stamps, it is from Season of Joy.

Now to brave the day ahead of me, it can only get better.... right??

Stamp sets I used:
Season of Joy (Item # 110384)

And as you may have picked up on over the last few days, Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit (Item # 124007)

Christmas Card Sneak Peek Day # 2
(okay, its really day 3 but I am doing 2 posts today..... so were even!!!)

So this card uses the Pennant Parade stamp set and punch.... I love the little tree.  The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler and the card is Lucky Limeade.   The little "merry" stamp is from the Tiny Tags stamp set.  I made the trees by punching out 3 trees, folding them and gluing them like an accordion to make it pop out.

Stamp sets I used:
Pennant Parade (Item # 122740)

I recently discovered the Joy of Pinterest.  I have yet to decide if I head over heals in love with this amazing site or if I hate this time-sucking madness!  (ok, really I love it... I just need to find a way to freeze time so I can spend hours pinning and repinning and following, ahh.)
Here is what I was inspired to do today:
I stumbled across this lovely lady, Pink Buckaroo, and LOVED her Halloween Hand sanitizers (Pictured below)
And I had to create my own... so here is what I made:

This is a first attempt, so be kind... thing always get better with practice!
Peppermint Patty Hand Sanitizer, yummm  Bath & Body Works
This pattern was so easy to follow, but looks totally impressive
And the best part was that I got 5 hand sanitizers for $5.  Which means I have another 4 creative gifts coming your way!!!

Last night we went to our friends house for dinner.  We love these guys, my husband has been friends with them for like 13 years, I was lucky enough to inherit them when we got married.  I love being in her kitchen - she is always cooking something yummy!  She has her own magazine Mom Magazine and she has the best ideas ever!   It was my turn to make desert and I have done this recipe a few times before with great results..

Salted Carmel Brownies
I got this recipe originally from another hero of mine Pioneer Woman (if you haven't discovered her yet - she will change your life for the better)  Every recipe I have tried from her is AMAZING!!!

The Brownies were everything I could have ever hoped for and more.  I got home and felt some inspiration to create something so rich and simple and my stamping room was just calling to me.   So here's my creation
I used the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set (Item #116517)

Mom's Club Workshop

Mom's club came over on Wednesday.  They were such good sports because my printer totally bugged out on me and all my nicely typed out directions were stuck in laptop world.  However, they pushed through and conquered the cards!!!

They were such a fun group!  Here is what we made:

I used the ruffled ribbon technique here..
And the penguins are made from the Owl Builder Punch...

It was a such a fun group!  And I had a blast designing all these Christmas Cards for them, We also ate cookies and listened to Christmas Music (did you know there is a Christmas music station on Comcast all year long!)  Holiday season here we come!!!

Stitched Stockings (Item #123784)
Tree Trimmings (Item # 116722)

Guest Stamper Teri

I saw Teri the other day and she shared her christmas cards that she plans on making at her Stamp a Stack event this year, I love each and every one of them!!!

I love her use of the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder (Item # 120902) in this card.  It is so clean and elegant!   .... I might have to add that embossing folder to my wish list

Could this be any more classic and cute... I'm going to have to get some of that Glitter Paper too... Glitter makes everything better!
She has such good idea's, and I totally store this present card and made one for my Mom's Club stampers Click here to see  My Mom's Club Cards
Again with the Glitter Paper!!  She is making my shopping list longer and longer... it comes in silver too... hmmmm
And I can never get over the ruffled ribbon - it makes such a statement!

You will have to excuse my poor photos... They were smart phone photos on the counter of a kitchen.  Clearly, not my best photo work!!
